Swing is a Cross-Chain SDK that unlocks cross-chain liquidity for Web3 and DeFi applications. In April, the team at Swing introduced several exciting updates and features to improve the developer and user experience. These updates provide a more transparent fee structure, non-react Widget support and a more user-friendly Widget UI.
Swing API Fees
The Swing API has undergone a significant update to provide developers with more transparency and control over fees. The API now provides estimated source chain gas fees in the /quote response for all routes. Developers can now better understand the cost of transactions and can communicate this information to users, which can help to build trust and loyalty.
The API now returns a well-organized fees object in the /quote response that includes estimated source chain gas fees and bridge fees. Learn more about fee structure here https://developers.swing.xyz/fees.
Swing Widget UX/UI Updates
Swing has made several updates to the Swing Widget to provide a better user experience:
The new Widget UI displays fees breakdown for each route, which includes estimated network gas fees and bridge fees. You can learn more about the fee breakdown here: https://developers.swing.xyz/fees.
Users can now see the USD conversion of the receiving amount and all associated fees, making it easier to understand the cost of each transaction. In Transaction history, users can now see USD conversions on both sending and receiving amounts.
Swing has also added Bridge/DEX information for each selected route, in-progress transaction, and transaction history details. This makes it easier for users to keep track of the bridge they used for a particular transaction.
Swing Widget for Non-React Applications
Previously, Swing Widget could only be used within a React environment. Now, Swing has updated the Widget to support non-react applications, allowing developers who are building non-react applications to integrate with the Swing Widget with just a few lines of code. Whether you are building an HTML or Angular application - we got you covered!
This update provides developers with more flexibility and makes it easier to integrate the Swing Widget into a wider range of applications. Check out the non-react Widget integration guide here https://developers.swing.xyz/reference/widget/without-react.
Community Updates
Swing has also announced its integration with Multichain, bringing seamless and deep cross-chain liquidity to Web3 developers.
Swing will participate in the Aurority x SWING AMA on Twitter on May 6, giving users the opportunity to learn more about the platform and ask questions to the team.

Overall, these updates reflect Swing's commitment to providing the best possible experience for its developers and users. By providing a more transparent fee structure, a better understanding of the cost of transactions, and a more user-friendly UI, Swing continues to be a leading cross-chain bridge and DEX aggregator in the Web3 and DeFi space.
