The launch of Swing Points will be the primary method for transferring power to our community over time. It serves as a robust distribution channel, enabling everyone to actively contribute and participate in future Swing governance.
How are Swing Points acquired?
Swing Points can be acquired by using the Swing protocol through Galaxy Exchange. Points can be accumulated through a variety of activities including making Swaps and Bridge transfers, as well as performing Quests and Referring friends. As fees collected from transactions go to the Swing treasury, this gives the future Swing DAO a revenue-generating protocol to govern over while receiving voting power proportional to your contribution to the ecosystem. Our goal is to encourage organic use of our protocol by making it difficult for bots and hunter networks, which must bear fees to participate.
Our intent is to develop a system that rewards users who actively support us and also for anyone who joins us in the future.
Who is eligible?
The Swing Points is designed to recognize and reward everyone who contributes to our mission. This includes all participants within the Swing and Galaxy ecosystems, our partners, and daily users:
Anyone who makes a swap or bridging transaction through Galaxy Exchange
Anyone who participates in Swing Points-related Quests/Campaigns onGalaxy Exchange.
To start getting Swing Points, anyone can make a cross-chain bridging transaction or swap on the Galaxy Exchange. You can track your accumulated points on Galaxy through the upcoming points dashboard. Stay tuned for the launch of the dashboard, we will be retroactively rewarding all participants starting today.

1. Perform Swaps
Get points by performing swaps across the Swing ecosystem on Galaxy Exchange. Swing Points are accrued for both, same-chain and cross-chain swaps across any of our 52+ supported blockchain ecosystems. It is designed in a way that ensures fairness and equity for the entire community.
For example: If Alice makes 100 transactions, and Bob just makes 1 transaction, Alice will get more Swing Points than Bob, but won’t get 100 times as many points as Bob.
Here then, if Alice does 100 transactions, she’ll get 6,430 Swing Points, compared to Bob’s 100 Swing Points for his one, single transaction.
Please note: A minimum swap amount of $6 is required for eligibility.
2. Make Bridge Transfers
Get points for making cross-chain swaps/bridge transfers across any of our supported blockchain ecosystems. Similar to swaps, it is designed in a way that ensures fairness and equity for the entire community.
For example: If Alice makes 100 transactions, and Bob just makes 1 transaction, Alice will get more Swing Points than Bob, but won’t get 100 times as many Swing Points as Bob.
Here then, if Alice does 100 transactions, she’ll get 6,430 Swing Points, compared to Bob’s 100 Swing Points for his one, single transaction.

3. Refer Friends (Coming Soon)
You can get points by referring your friends to Swing. You’ll get 10% of the Swing Points that they get from their participation. If they transact more, you get more Swing Points!
Additionally, bonuses for routine and successful referral conversions will be given. While specifics will be detailed later to avoid gamification, rest assured— the more active your referrals are, the more points you'll get. Stay tuned!
4. Participating in Quests
Our community is encouraged to participate in quests organized by Swing & Galaxy, especially those highlighted on Galaxy Exchange on the official website. During the quest period, completing specific bridging tasks can get you additional Swing Points on top of the single/cross-chain transaction points.
